I'm Alex — a Sydney-based photographer originally from Auckland.
I shoot music, people, and places with an observational eye and a film-leaning aesthetic. Since 2019 I've been embedded in the NZ music industry as a recording and mixing engineer, which means I come to shoots with an insider's fluency of artists and creative culture.
My camerawork spans live performance, press photography, album artwork, music videos, behind-the-scenes, and events — and whether I'm in a sweaty venue or a quiet corner of the world, I'm always after images that feel honest, considered, and alive.
